Nothing Hits Harder Than Life

One of the big things that I find with life is nothing will happen for a month or two and then it all hits you at once.

I myself has that situation a couple days ago when my boss pulled me into his office.

I got offered a job. Where I work they have about 40 interns a year and only offer two of them a job and let the rest go, so it is an honor.

Obviously I took it. Not even second guessing myself.

Here is the kicker. My office does work with a pro sports team. Somehow the pro sports team heard of me and are keeping a close watch in order to offer me a job.

Who knew, my dream would come knocking at the door as soon as I work so hard to get a job.

But thats life. Life is filled with big decisions that test the very being of a person.

My whole life I dreamed of working in professional sports since I was a kid and realized I sucked at every sport I played. I knew that if I worked hard enough that I could make it in sports, just from a business aspect.

I found it fascinating how teams business size was run.

So here I am, in my twenties, wondering what my next move is going to be.

The funny thing is about sports business is that when starting out, there are few choices that you are given when it comes to getting a job, so this here is a conundrum.

But I made my decision. I will stay here, and work my internship out and work here, because what I do every day makes me happy. Very few people do what makes them happy in life. Everybody always goes for money instead of happiness and that is usually a mistake because whats life if you are not happy.

I know eventually I might still try and get a job with a professional sports team. I know this is certain, but why ruin a good thing by packing up and leaving a job when you are happy right where you are.

Makes sense if you ask me.

Now the question you have to ask yourself is are you happy? Have you made decisions in your life that you are happy with?

Because one thing I have found in my short time on this earth is the saying is right. If you work hard enough and put your mind to it, you can achieve anything.

I know this is corny, but in my case at least its true, and this is not coming from a rich kid either.

I worked for everything I have. Now I am starting to see the results.

So I ask you, the readers......nothing hits harder than life, but are you rolling with the punches?
